SolidCoin / BitCoin / Scrypt GPU and CPU Miner
Reaper was the first GPU miner to effectively mine SolidCoin v2.0 and was created by mtrlt who would become a SolidCoin developer. Later versions of Reaper added CPU mining, allowing you to use both your CPU and GPU to mine SolidCoin at high efficiency.
On February 29, 2012, mtrlt released support for GPU Scrypt mining used by coins like Tenebrix, mmmcoin and Litecoin. The Scrypt algorithm was thought to be "GPU resistant" , but unlike the SolidCoin v2.0 hash algorithm which aims to be relatively equal on CPU and GPU, Scrypt is much more efficient to mine on a GPU than a CPU, currently by 6 to 10 times, getting about 230KH/s on a 5830 gpu compared to an Intel I7 @ 4GHz getting 38KH/s.
Note. Edit litecoin.conf to set your pool details. Aggression 18 is the highest you will want to use, 14 seems the best if you want to keep using your desktop.
